Funding & Project Assistance

NSPIRG welcomes funding proposals for research projects that focus on environmental or social justice issues and/or activities that promote the dissemination of relevant environmental and social justice research to the public.
All proposals must have a strong public education component. Aside from offering in-kind support, NSPIRG approves projects for funding amounts between $5-$500, subject to the Board's discretion.
Completed applications can be emailed to the Board or dropped off at the NSPIRG offices in room 314 of the Dalhousie SUB. If you are applying for funding please make sure that the budget is clear and the amount requested specifically outlined. NOTE:Projects that fall directly under the mandate of one of NSPIRG's ongoing campaigns may apply for funding year-round. Contact our Resources Coordinator for details.
